Character Gacha
The demo signs in automatically with an anonymous account. The account is shared across every demo in the showroom, so items and currency you get in one demo carry over to the others. Loading takes a moment. If the frame is too small, open the demo in a new tab.
Overview
A gacha that draws characters for coins. Buy coins under Buy coins, pull the gacha under Draw a character, and the character you get is added to Your characters. Each draw runs the coin withdrawal from GS2-Money2, the GS2-Lottery draw and the GS2-Inventory grant as one transaction.
How to try it
- Under Buy coins, press Buy on 10 coins, 50 coins or 250 coins; the balance under Your coins goes up.
- Under Draw a character, press Buy next to Draw a character for 10 coins; it spends 10 coins and pulls the gacha once.
- The character you drew (
knight,archer,mageorhealer) appears as a new row under Your characters; a duplicate gets a row of its own. - Keep pulling: common (
knight/archer) comes out 80% of the time and rare (mage/healer) 20%, with even odds within a rarity. - A draw is refused when you have fewer than 10 coins; buy more under Buy coins.
The wallet is shared with the other showroom demos in the same browser, so coins you got in another demo can be spent here.
GS2 services used
- GS2-Lottery: A GS2-Lottery prize table draws a rarity (common 80 / rare 20) first, then a character within it at equal weight.
- GS2-Showcase: A GS2-Showcase shelf sells one draw as a 10-coin product, tying the coin cost to the draw in one purchase transaction; the coin packs are sold from another shelf.
- GS2-Inventory: Each character drawn is added to a GS2-Inventory inventory, one entry per character, and listed under Your characters.
- GS2-Money2: The GS2-Money2 wallet holds the coins: buying a pack deposits into it, and every draw withdraws 10.
- GS2-Dictionary: Each prize also records the character in a GS2-Dictionary collection (not shown on this page).
Use it in GS2 Studio
In GS2 Studio’s Simple mode, open Add features and press Add on Character Gacha to bring this feature into your own project. To point at the package directly, choose Add from GitHub and enter the package below.
